TV report - Installation of solar panels in Burkina Faso

Some of the Ceva team members lead their own personal projects that also contribute to strengthening the Group's values.

Some of the Ceva team members lead their own personal projects that are not only inspiring and  rewarding, but that also contribute to strengthening the Group's values. We have decided to highlight Florence Cavillac's project to illustrate this ; Florence has been the assistant to the Tropical Africa zone for 6 years, and together with her husband, they have genuinely achieved an important goal in Burkina Faso.

After a stay in Burkina, Franck Cavillac professor at the Lycée professionnel in Bordeaux Saint-Genes, decided to put his  technical skills and know-how to the service of five villages in Burkina Faso by installing a solar power plant to supply electricity to the villages communal literacy & learning centre. Ceva decided to support this commendable project by participating in the purchase of solar panels.

Franck Cavillac left for Burkina in February this year, where he spent two weeks, accompanied by 10 of his students putting this project together. Not only did they succeed in installing the power plant, but the sense of achievement and humanity behind this experience were unforgettable.

"Through their actions, Florence and her husband have demonstrated their concern and dedication to third world countries - which is perfectly in line with CEVA's sense of committment and support in central Africa".

Please take the time to have a look at the filming done on site during the installation.
