This week the Ceva Intertropical Africa team took part in West Africa's most important event: the International Exhibition of Agriculture and Animal Resources, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Thanks to the event's broad reach, we were able to meet most of the key accounts and local distributors. Our communication focused on hatchery vaccination, genetic improvement and the fight against trypanosomiasis.
Making the most of record attendance, we revealed the results of a massive survey conducted in Côte d’Ivoire this year with over 1,000 farmers who have vaccinated their chicks in the hatchery with Ceva products: 97% of them said they were satisfied with their choice! Enough to really help speed up the spread of this practice.
Alongside the fair, a group of about twenty veterinarians and artificial insemination technicians took part in a ReprodAction awareness-raising session, organised in collaboration with our partner, IMV technologies.
With its 22 local representatives, the Intertropical Africa team is a longstanding and recognised presence. It was therefore quite natural that their stand should welcome, in turn, the French Agriculture Minister (Didier Guillaume), as well as the South African and of course the Côte d'Ivoire Ministers of Agriculture.
