COMPOSITION
CEVAC® GUMBO L contains the LIBDV intermediate strain of Infectious Bursal Disease virus in live, freeze-dried form.
INDICATIONS
For the active immunization of healthy chickens against Infectious Bursal Disease (Gumboro Disease).
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
CEVAC® GUMBO L must be administered by drinking water method.
Broilers should be vaccinated with CEVAC® GUMBO L from 14 to 21 days of age, depending on the level of maternally derived antibodies. In case of heterogeneity of this level between chicks, a first vaccination between 7 to 10 days of age is recommended.
Pullets should be vaccinated twice between the age of 20 and 28 days, allowing a six-day interval between administrations. In case of heterogeneity of the maternally derived antibody level, a first vaccination between the age of 14 to 16 days is recommended.
The exact date of vaccination can be determined by checking the level of maternally derived antibodies.
